At Mobile Wellness Co., we deliver remedial massage and social support services in full alignment with the new aged-care framework established by the Aged Care Act 2024.

Statement of Principles

In accordance with the Aged Care Act 2024, we commit to:

  • Placing older people at the centre of their care, ensuring that their safety, health, wellbeing and quality of life are the primary consideration.

  • Treating each older person as a unique individual, respecting their identity, culture, preferences, values and rights under the new Statement of Rights.

  • Supporting older people to remain in their home or community with services that contribute to their independence, dignity and sense of belonging. 

  • Ensuring that information is accessible, clear and tailored, so older people (and their families or carers) can make informed decisions about their services. 

  • Recognising the important role of carers, families and supporters, and enabling their involvement in decisions and support arrangements when that is the wish of the older person. 

Our Commitment to the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards

Mobile Wellness Co. is committed to operating within the principles and regulatory framework of the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards. We embrace the intent and values of the Standards in our service delivery, namely:

  • Standard 3: The care and services — We provide safe, high-quality remedial massage and social-support services tailored to each person’s needs, goals and preferences, as outlined in their individual care plan.

  • Standard 4: The environment — We ensure services are delivered in a safe, comfortable and respectful environment. Whether in-home or in community settings dignity, privacy, and client wellbeing are our priority.


How We Align with Approved Aged Care Activities

Remedial Massage

  • Approved Activity: Therapeutic services for independent living / allied health and therapy services

  • Alignment: Delivered under the “therapeutic services for independent living” category, supporting comfort, mobility, and overall wellbeing. Provided only when included in the individual’s approved aged-care plan.

Individual Social Support

  • Approved Activity: Social support – individual

  • Alignment: Provides companionship, conversation, meaningful activity, and engagement in approved social or community activities. Fully tailored to client preferences.

Group Social Support

  • Approved Activity: Social support – group

  • Alignment: Supports participation in small group activities and community engagement, fostering social connection and inclusion. Delivered under the “social support – group” category.

Cultural Support

  • Approved Activity: Social support – cultural support

  • Alignment: We provide culturally-sensitive social support and help with community or cultural engagement, supporting attendance at cultural events, community gatherings, social or cultural participation, and connection to identity.
